Located in the center of a patio, Monument is a sculpture between furniture and architecture. While it is presented as a massive pedestal on which a light construction of helical inspiration is simply posed, the sculpture reveals itself as you approach it. Monument actually merges three distinct spaces: that of a block whose dimensions correspond to those of the encompassing architecture, that of a hollow forum on the scale of the model sealed under a window, that of the miniature of architecture immersed in the infinity of its reflection. By superimposing different scales, the interior and exterior are disturbed and disturb our perception and our relation to the dimensions of the sculpture. Kinetic, Monument invites you to project yourself into a universe reminiscent of science fiction (Cf. scene of the giant tesseract from the film Interstellar or that of the entry of astronaut Bowman in 2001, the space odyssey in the colored tunnel near Jupiter).
